Hoe wek je onze interesse? De PR-man van het oorspronkelijk Australische (maar tegenwoordig opererend vanuit UK) Kins kreeg het voor elkaar door het volgende e-mailtje naar ons te sturen:
“Kins spent most of 2014 on the road, including playing SXSW and supporting Courtney Barnett in the US, along with a string of headline shows, radio appearances (KCRW) and playing at Bonnaroo and Bumbershoot festivals. Cyclical is out July 6th on East City Records; it’s got this sprawling indie thing going on, definitely a little of Alt-J and Wild Beasts in there now.”
Leidend voorwerp in dat mailtje was Young, de eerste track van het nieuw te verschijnen album Cyclical. Zoals gezegd, onze interesse was gewekt en geklikt werd er. En nu moet jij.
