Gloednieuw op het Subpop label: “bedroom pop from singer, songwriter and producer” Hannah Jadagu (spreek uit als: juh-dah-goo). Op 23 april verschijnt met What Is Going On? een debuut EP van de uit Texas afkomstige, maar nu in New York wonende 18 jarige muzikante.
De EP bevat vijf liedjes die gaan over het opgroeien als een jonge zwarte vrouw in Amerika. “It represents my first project, and it’s full of my thoughts and emotions during my own personal experiences, and also what was happening in the world,” vertelt Hannah er over. “It truly is like seeing through my exterior, and getting to know me over the past few years, in just a matter of 30 minutes.”
